Very dark, but very interesting.
I wonder if these designs would be as interesting if they faded a lot.
Even darker, but I like it!

Could be a bit lighter, but I love the placement of blocks, and the quilting of course.
I like the second design, but prefer the first one.

Love the first design. Not sure that I would use the same colouring in a real quilt but it is effective in showing off the design in a digital version.
In addition to the lines shown I would outline all applique pieces, plus fill in background area with stippling.
I like the second one, but wonder why I added that wide border, though it would turn a quilt with 12 inch blocks into a queens size quilt.

That quilt in reality would make a nice warm welcome to a bedroom. I love this design.
I like the second design, but it is overshadowed by the first one.

I have a lot of project files with many designs I have not shared, and sometimes the file doesn’t get any attention for long periods of time. When I do get around to opening them I sometimes find a design waiting to be shared which almost jumps off the screen saying Look at me, I am lovely.
The one above is one of them!
I rather like the second design as well!

Love it.
Love it!
I am watching our young satsuma plum tree like a hawk, but the rest of the birds haven’t found a way through the net … each day just a little more dark plum colouring, and just a little bit of softness … ready to pick and eat soon, and when I have had enough fresh, will start drying them. No need to make jam this year as a friend gave me buckets full last year when there were about three plums on our tree.

Love the first design.
The star at the centre of the first design becomes the quilting motif for an almost whole cloth design.
